The Google Play video app will leave Roku, Vizio, LG and Samsungs TV platforms – Engadget1 min read

Google is ceasing the Google Play Movies and TV app for Samsung, LG and Vizio clever TVs, as well as Roku devices. Any Google Play credits associated with your account will still be there, permitting you to purchase new motion pictures and TELEVISION programs.
Google shared the news last month, but it went primarily unnoticed up until after sites like Liliputing and 9to5Google released stories on the shutdown previously today following an email the business sent out to users. To be clear, Play Movies and TV itself isnt joining the Google graveyard on June 15th. Google plans to ultimately combine the app with its new Google TELEVISION software, but thats a continuous procedure with the former still readily available to download on Android and iOS.
Google is closing down the Google Play Movies & & TV apps for Roku, Samsung, LG, and Vizio smart TVs on June 15, but past purchases should be available in the YouTube apps for those platforms, and you can utilize Play credits with YouTube.
