New TimeSplitters game in development, Free Radical Design reformed – Polygon1 min read

The TimeSplitters series is formally returning. Publisher Deep Silver announced Wednesday that a new video game in the time-traveling shooter series is in development at freshly reformed Free Radical Design, the initial studio behind the TimeSplitters games.
Free Radical Design founders Steve Ellis and David Doak, developers and designers of the original TimeSplitters and co-directors of 2005s TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, have actually reunited to reconstruct the studio. Ellis joined THQ Nordic, now called Embracer Group, in 2019 “to help plot the future course for [the TimeSplitters] franchise.”

The initial TimeSplitters was launched in 2000 for PlayStation 2. Two follows up, TimeSplitters 2 and TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, followed. A 4th game and numerous remakes and remasters were prepared but never concerned fruition.
