The $400 cost drop to $999 certainly makes it a more budget friendly device, but when we reviewed the Surface Duo last year we applauded the hardware and found the buggy customized version of Android made it tough to use at times. TikTok was among the bigger third-party apps that got upgraded specifically for the Surface Duo last year, but there are still not sufficient apps making the most of this unique hardware.
While Microsoft has assured monthly updates for the Surface Duo, the business failed to provide an upgrade in December. The updates havent done enough to improve the software application experience of utilizing the Surface Duo, in spite of its apparent capacity.
