Microsoft is injecting a bit more darkness into Words dark mode, the business stated in an article over the weekend. The word processor previously just let you darken the ribbon and toolbars, while the document itself stayed brilliant white. The upgrade will place the document onto a dark canvas.Youll be able to toggle between modes using the Switch Modes button in the Word ribbon, and you can disable the dark canvas in the alternatives menu.

” With Dark mode, youll observe that the formerly white page color is now a dark grey/black. Colors within your document will also be shifted to accommodate the new color contrast,” Word program supervisor Ali Forelli composed in the post. “Indeed, reds, blues, yellows, and other colors will be moved somewhat to silence the overall result of the color combination and look more visually pleasing with the new dark background.” The update is offered now to Windows beta testers, however it should roll out more widely in the coming months.Read more: Windows 10 dark mode is here.
