Bloodstained goes old school with new classic mode – Engadget1 min read

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is taking its Castlevania inspirations to another level with its new Classic Mode. Youll only have a Sword-whip with which to fend off enemies as you guide Miriam though a castle, consisting of 5 sub-bosses and stages, on her way to fight the huge bad, Gebel. If you manage to complete Classic Mode, which has three problem settings, the game will grade you on your rating, death and time count.Classic Mode doesnt adopt a full 8-bit visual– the graphics shown off in the trailer arent precisely pixelated. The interface certainly has an old-school ambiance and the core weapon is plainly a take on Castlevanias Whip Sword.
