Apex Legends leak shows Respawn testing Titanfall 2 weapon in-game – Dexerto2 min read

When will the EPG get here? Thats an easy one, as we currently understand a heap of Titanfall content will be arriving after Season 8. Well, considering the Season 8 Battle Pass is scheduled to end on May 3, it will probably get going quickly after that.

The energy weapon will most likely be getting well balanced and nerfed for its arrival to Apex, at least we hope so, as the EPG displayed in the leaked image has a 5 round magazine– which would certainly be overkill if it might still just one-shot you.
Biast added that the testing for the EPG was still “kinda early stage,” thus the recycled property from Titanfall 2 in the screenshot, which we hope Respawn believes about keeping in, if for absolutely nothing more than a little bit of nostalgia.

Respawn EntertainmentThe EPG was a beast in Titanfall 2, capable of one-shotting most non-mech enemies.
The EPG-1 or “Energy Propelled Grenade” works somewhat like a mix of a grenade launcher and a rocket launcher, with projectiles having an extremely low, but certainly observable drop.
In Titanfall 2, it was a one-hit kill on generally any non-mech character if you got the shot close enough, and likewise did very heavy damage in its blast radius.

When will the EPG show up? Thats a simple one, as we currently know a lots of Titanfall content will be arriving after Season 8. So, next concern, when is Season 9 starting? Well, thinking about the Season 8 Battle Pass is scheduled to end on May 3, it will probably start soon after that.

Apex is technically a sort of sequel to the Titanfall video games, and not even if both are made by Respawn Entertainment. They also take place in the same universe, with the battle royale getting a few years after completion of TF2.
Now the FPS is coming back with Season 9 content currently being validated by devs, and on April 9, a new image from Apex leaker Biast12 apparently shows Titanfall 2s EPG weapon already being checked.

A brand-new Pinnacle Legends leak apparently reveals Respawn screening out a Titanfall 2 weapon in-game before it ultimately makes its way to live servers.

The EPG might just be the idea of the iceberg when it comes to Titanfall content in Season 9, with more leakages on an all-but-confirmed approaching character called Blisk, who might get here with a huge surprise of his own.
